This project is unique In the Texas Hill Country because rather than a vacation rental it is designed to be a corporate retreat center.  Businesses can rent this facility for training, team building and other business purposes combined with activities found in the Texas outdoors.

The retreat center was an existing metal building that we completely remodeled, added a cedar post & beam entry as well as a 20 ft addition in the back to provide a room for all the electronics, audio video and storage for equipment and fixtures.

In addition to the retreat center, we built another metal building next door with a commercial kitchen, bathrooms, and a guest suite to support the retreat center and provide overnight accommodations.

An additional septic system was also added to handle the Guest House and other septic needs.  The electrical service was updated to provide 2 – 200-amp services for the added power demand. 

This was a very technical project with a lot of moving parts and systems.  At HCBR Texas, we have a lot of experience in this sort of commercial construction.  Our customers are very happy with the outcome with the project and they saved a lot of $$$ by taking advantage of our “Sweat Equity” program. The next project for Ghost Dancer is developing a newly acquired property next door to add more overnight accommodations to add more capacity for the retreat center.  We are looking forward to getting that project off the ground soon.
