Spring Branch is a beautiful, unincorporated community located in the hill country of Texas. The area is known for its scenic views, abundant wildlife, and clear springs. Spring Branch is also home to a number of historical landmarks, including the Spring Branch Schoolhouse and the Spring Branch Cemetery. The Spring Branch area was first settled in the late 1820s by German and Austrian immigrants. These early settlers were attracted to the area by the abundance of spring water and the fertile land. The Spring Branch schoolhouse was built in 1856 and served as the primary educational facility for the community for many years. The Spring Branch Cemetery is the final resting place for many of the area’s early settlers. Today, Spring Branch remains a quiet, rural community. However, its rich history and natural beauty continue to attract visitors from all over Texas.
